Good water heights saw an encouraging start to the season with two Salmon taken on the 5th and 8th of March by Jonathan Ramsey and Reg Lawton. Both fish were around the 8lb mark and were caught in the Weir Pool at Beam and Madeira. Later in the month Jonathan Sykes lost a good fish at Beam and Charles Inniss got into a fish in the Ladder Pool at Brimblecombe. Charles also reported three Sea Trout up to 3lb at Brimblecombe, Beam and the Peninsula Pool on Beat 1 of the Half Moon Water.
