After a short illness Lord Clinton has passed away. He was the brainchild behind the setting up of our Association in 1979, was Chairman for five years and has been President ever since. He loved fishing and caught many salmon both on the Beam Water and The Golden Pool. Lord Clinton was passionate about the river and whenever his busy diary permitted attended committee meetings always giving sound advice when asked.
